That’s right, evidently Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens aren’t engaged. Rumors surfaced in February as the couple gallivanted around Japan claiming that Vanessa’s mom Gina was putting pressure on Efron. Evidently, she didn’t want them to move in together unless he had made an honest woman out of her daughter. I called it back in February - the rumors were completely fabricated.

Evidently, Zac and Vaness had a “ good laugh” about the rumors, which came straight from the Enquirer. We must remember that Hudgens is only 20 years old and probably isn’t ready for marriage even though the couple has been dating for quite a while.

Although Zac Efron has shoved off the rumors as ridiculous, it’d be nice to hear where they actually stand on the subject. The rumors were more of a “Don't worry honey, we will be getting married at some point” sort of thing. I’m guessing they’ve had that sort of conversation, how could they not? Fans follow their relationship religiously and this isn’t the first time the seriousness of the couple has been brought up.

But let this teach us all a lesson – it’s not official until someone puts a ring on it. Oh Beyonce, you’re so wise. So, when we see Vanessa Hudgens with a big rock on her finger, I’ll believe it. Until then, we can just look at cute pictures of Zanessa.

Vanessa Hudgens and Brenda Song have been recently cast in Twilight's third movie Eclipse. Vanessa and Brenda, both 20, reportedly have a major part in the third movie a source has revealed. Vanessa will portray Lauren Mallory, who is a silver blonde, fishy-eyed girl who is jealous of Bella despite being popular herself. Vanessa is also set to sing a minor song in the movie. Vanessa has earlier showed a lot of interest to play Leah Clearwater in the series.

Brenda was cast as Leah Clearwater, who is a Native American female werewolf in the Quileute tribe. Leah also happens to be Jacob Black's rival. The popular starlets were both supposedly rumored to be the top contenders for the role of Leah Clearwater in New Moon. But the New Moon casting directors and producers decided not to cast Leah Clearwater in New Moon. Many plans to put Leah in the third movie were being discussed.

Millions of Twilight fans petitioned not to have Vanessa in the movie, many of them also started small protests. Due to the ongoing hatred towards Vanessa being considered for the role of Leah, the casting directors and producers decided not to include her at all.

Vanessa recently told me: "I got a call from the Eclipse producers who said they wanted me to play Lauren Mallory. The producers are going to make Lauren a major part in Eclipse although in the books it is a fairly small part. I am really excited about this. I absolutely love Twilight and my younger sister loves Twilight too. She has read all of the books in the series. I am really looking forward to play Lauren although I wanted to play Leah. Since I am part Native American and the character is a really challenging role to play."

Brenda also told me exclusively: "I'm so excited about stepping into Leah Clearwater's shoes. I love Leah and I am a huge Twilight fan, I'm on Team Edward. I love Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, they are amazing and beautiful. Rob is one of my friends, he is a saint. I have read all of the Twilight books, I love them. I am obsessed with Twilight and cannot wait to work with the cast who are beyond friendly. I am also excited about working with Vanessa, who is also one of my close friends.

"Leah is an amazing and challenging role, I look forward to playing Leah. I have always wanted to play Leah Clearwater, I didn't actually audition for the part. The producers saw my interest in the role and series and then I got a call from one of the casting directors who said she wanted me to portray Leah and I was literally dancing and screaming when I heard that. I'm really obsessed with Twilight."
